The Itu Project of YWCA Tampere supports girls and women who are in crisis pregnancy situations, who continue a pregnancy under difficult circumstances or who have gone through an abortion. Mother-child-activities are an important part of the work in Tampere.

The phone service and the counseling centers offer you support if you want to discuss your pregnancy and life situation.
As support in the decision-making process you get information about various alternatives: about continuing the pregnancy, about interrupting the pregnancy or about the possibility of giving up your child for adoption. Information about the pregnancy itself and about the development of the fetus as well as about social support for families and single parents is also available.
Also do not hesitate to call us or come by and talk to us if you already had an abortion and cannot get the thoughts off your mind.
All conversations are treated confidentially and the service is free.
